Our colleague ran the TCS London Marathon 2024
Well done to our colleague John Hetherington for his recent success at running the TCS London Marathon on 21st April. John ran in aid of Huntington's Disease Association and we were proud to fully support him with this. On Tuesday30th April, Director Liam Salkeld thanked John personally on behalf of Riverside Recruitment and donated £200, helping John smash his original target of £1000!! We are all immensely proud and thank John for raising vital funds for such a worthy cause. And thank you to everyone who donated too. Times are hard for many, and every ££ is very much appreciated. Meet Jessica
2024 sees us making lots of positive changes here at Riverside Recruitment UK, and this includes some new starters! One being Jessica Yates, our new Apprentice Recruitment Consultant... Jessica studied at Caldew School and left in June 2022, not fully knowing what direction to go in with her own career choices. Her older sister works within HR, so this inspired Jessica to this field. Wanting to gain valuable experience and skills in an area where she has passion to progress in 'working with people', we feel Jessica will fit perfectly within recruitment and our ethos of supporting people and local businesses. Mission Christmas!
Riverside Recruitment are proud to support Cumbria’s Cash For Kids. Sally and Liam went down to Arco in Carlisle, the HQ for Mission Christmas, and on behalf of the whole team at Riverside and help from friends and family, we donated over 200 gifts! “No child should wake up without a gift this Christmas.” Special thank you to the kids of Grassroots Football and Warwick Wanderers for their huge support with this!
